That’s it, enough is enough! I have pondered over my blog long enough and decided today was going to be the day to deliver my first blog post. I’m really jumping in feet first here; I haven’t prepared mainly because I could put off writing it again for another 6 months or so.
I’m going to begin from the beginning, a great place to start with any story I do believe. The idea for my blog began when I started noticing that when I offered a piece of advice to someone, they would often say how much it helped them and that they had never heard of that particular person or way of thinking. I would then offer up more advice, please keep in mind this is mainly from what I have watched or read I don’t claim to have all the answers, I’m just really excited about the prospect of learning about life and ways to deal with it.
Anyway people would often say they wished there was a place where all the information I had told them could be found, I thought well if its helping them this might help others, I also thought about my little girls and how great it would be for them to read it one day… and voila the blog was born, as I said a while ago now, but it’s a thought I have been playing around with daily for long enough.
OK so enough with the beginnings of the blog and time to offer a bit of advice, so here goes. Take 10 minutes out for yourself daily. This week I watched a great little video of Tony Robbins, where he discussed his ‘Rituals’ he said that one thing he does for himself, is give himself 10 minutes a day. This is because Tony believes the greatest life is achieved in a 'peak state', to be successful or deal with life in the best possible place. He says he does this by having daily rituals, one being the ‘10 minutes for himself’. During this time, he breaks the minutes down roughly in to three and does the following:
I liked the idea of rituals and thought I would give this one a go, what’s 10 minutes? A long time when you have a lot going on, but seriously what if it helps you deal with life a bit better? So I’m trying it daily at the moment (when I remember) and have really enjoyed the process, I hope you can give yourself 10 minutes a day to try this technique and I hope it improves your life. Peace and love to you and yours.
