So what is a Mantra? A daily mantra is a motivating chant that you can say internally to yourself to help you get through difficult times, to motivate you, to improve your daily life and your thinking, amongst other things. For me this has been a great tool to use for my negative internal voice, sometimes I refer to the voice as the 'Ego', most people suffer with the internal negative and I have found using a Mantra has been a great way to stop the incessant negative internal banter. Start using a Mantra YourselfGetting more in control of my daily inner dialogue was the best thing I ever did, I realised if it could be a NEGATIVE voice then it could be POSITIVE one also. I'd heard people talk about Mantras before and often thought they had something to do with Buddhism or Meditation (which Yes they are). But on further research I realised a mantra could be what I wanted it to be, for me - So I started using a Mantra as and when I needed it. So my mantras became a daily practise that I would say in times of 'the negative self talk' or just because I wanted a boost of positivity or motivation.
