It's very easy to stay "in the mind", plodding along day to day constantly thinking thoughts of days gone by and planning what's going to happen next. We often forget that life is happening right now before our very eyes and continue on in a trance like state, trapped in our thoughts instead of really opening our eyes to see the beauty life has on offer.
As Eckhart Tolle mentions in the book the "Power of Now" there's a time for planning but life is Now.
I have a lovely little heart sign that's says:
"The happiest moment of the happiest life is now"
I have it on the kitchen side at home, every time I see it, it grounds me to the moment and reminds me to live in the now. I love it! Being a busy mum and business woman I'm constantly planning, but I've found that giving my mind a chance to rest in this way has enabled me to think more clearly when it comes to organising and planning.
Peace and love to you and yours.
